Foddering Legault?

I have a 5* +spd/-atk Legault I pulled from the Fangs banner, that I doubt I'll use much. I've used him a tiny bit in AA but honestly he was just a filler 4th unit when I did so I wouldn't have to waste someone else who might potentially be needed for certain matchups in later AA encounters. +spd is nice and -atk normally isn't a big deal for me but in Legault's case he has only 40 atk and has to deal with the typically higher def stat for most units.

So would it be worth it to fodder him for Atk Tactics to +atk/-def S!Tana? Given that her default tome has potentially great utility for mixed teams. And despite my plethora of flier options of late, I still have no hone fliers so I'm keeping the default tome on Tana for now.

You kind of build the case for foddering by saying you don't really like to use him, but what set do you have? Despite atk bane 28/41 offense is workable with a good weapon. With Barb Shuriken, Moonbow, and Desperation even those high defense units need to watch out.

If you're using Tana a lot on a mixed team already though, it's not a bad idea to give her Atk Tactic, though I would prefer to place it on a tank or support rather than someone with her offense potential as giving her the attack buff is better.

Legault only has his default stuff learned from getting to level 40 for catalogue. And desperation is a big issue currently for me. I have a Shanna shortage which currently has units like SF!Nino, Ishtar, and Caeda all stuck with Desperation 2 instead of 3. And I feel I if get a Shanna it would be better suited just to give one of them Desperation 3 since all of them are fairly well built other than that.

I agree only if you take an atk+3 seal and either swift sparrow or L&D. 40-45 atk isn't threatening enough, even with the moonbow, not with how much people like to focus on def nowadays.

Since Legault is now summonable at 4* with Atk Tactic 3 it seems like a waste to fodder off a 5* version of him with that skill.

But at the same time he's just taking up space currently really. And some of the skills he'd want to help patch the -atk don't feel worth it.

Swift Sparrow is too rare to fodder off my only extra SF!Nino to him, when possible a better iv unit could have it at somepoint. Or say I finally summon a Mia, since I'll want to use her no matter what if I get her.

LnD, I'm out of Sothes and honestly if I get a good iv Sothe I'd rather use him than Legault.

Fury, I think I summoned one 3* of Hinata right after the demotion happened and haven't seen another copy since.

Desperation, I have a shortage of Shanna so there are higher priority units to give that too if she shows up. Ishtar, SF!Nino, and Caeda at least.

Also I don't know how much I'll summon on colorless in the near future. Red is top priority until I get 3 more Fir, and Blue is backup for Shanna.

As someone who is also running low on Shannas I can understand. Legault kind of needs Desperation to make use of his speed, so I gave it to him because I wanted to HM farm feathers from him during the TT.

I tend not to use dagger units either and I hate pulling on colorless so if that skill is looking good on someone you're actually going to use then why not.
