A Flying Staff Wielder?

I was mucking with my Flier Emblem team when I noticed how often I would have done so much better if I had a healer on the team, since there are just often areas where my team would have lived if I had healed instead of taking the blow.

What do you guys think a Flying healer would look like stat wise?

They'd probably have good speed compared to infantry healers, decent resistance but poor health, attack and defense. 140-145 BST, slightly above Bride Ninian as she has the low BST of both a mage and a dancer. I'd like to see a Falcon Knight Sumia as our first flying healer, hoped she'd have appeared when we had the awakening banner with Chrom and the Morgans.

Why are you basing it off Ninian? Fliers tend to have similar bst to infantry, so I'd expect ~147/148 BST: similar to most infantry clerics, infantry mages, and flying mages (who aren't dancers).

I'm just expecting a few BST lower than infantry healers, not sure why. Ninian is there as the absolute minimum level but I'd expect them to be higher than her. I'll revise the 140-145 BST to around 145.

I too was hoping for Sumia, but alas, my ideal Chrom Wife won’t show.

I could see a Flying Healer Elincia alt, as she uses staves and is a flying unit in her original games. Probably very fast with some good resistance.

Most likely sporting an attack stat that rivals Azama's.

Actually stat wise it'd probably be basically a flying Azama, with def/res flipped and a bit less health to patch up the speed.

Low def like a lot of flying units (especially females), good speed (like, mid 30s, Maria-ish), mid to high res (at least 25), HP greater than 30 but less than 37, infantry BST so maybe 149-152 due to powercreep? Sothe has broken 150 for a ranged infantry and Soleil and Shigure have broken 160 for melee.

Let's suppose 149 with potential for a superboon.
