Flier team feedback? 🤔

With the newest member, F!Robin, I finally feel confident enough to have a team dedicated to flier quests. Wondering if I can get some feedback as well as second opinions on the current builds? 🤔

Myrrh has Reposition and F!Robin will eventually get it too. I've also planned to give NY!Camilla Fury > Spd/Def Bond at some point. F!Morgan will get her Spd Ploy upgraded one day. 😤

It's a perfectly fine team for arena, but I actually find it quite dubious for GHBs because it's very enemy phase oriented with a lot of QR and no way to replenish HP. Morgan in particular is extremely specific; she's good against red and blue mages and not really anything else. The one fast flier you have has 47 atk, no help from her A-skill, no goad support, and not even a moonbow.

The ploys are especially risky because a lot of GHB maps throw units at you from diagonal angles and you won't be able to ploy them before entering combat.

I'm interested to see if this kind of strategy actually works. You would probably need to stack a lot of ward fliers (so you'll have to sacrifice Shigure) and atk smoke. Generally, my concern would be that you're going to take a lot of hits and your opponents will just charge up big specials, and what will you have to show for all the hits you've taken? Massive ignis? Aether to heal up the damage you've taken?

That was my biggest issue too when I put the team together. Lack of a flying healer is especially hard on this team since they can typically land 1 (sometimes 2) QR counter hits and then they can't.

I have a spare Palla for Goad Fliers and was wondering who would best make use of it. On Myrrh it could help out F!Robin's middling speed and boost her Atk, while also helping out NY!Camilla; though she loses out on the bonuses.

Although I especially like F!Morgan, I feel like she's one of the more replaceable members of this team and the build I have on her has worked better on mixed teams.

For sustainability, Aether being the primary choice, how could I get it to proc easily without a breath skill? Or would a Renewal/Reciprocal Aid build be better suited for one of my units?

Yeah it's not easy to get aether off. NY Camilla can make it a little easier with slaying edge, and she's probably the one doubling rather than taking the extra hits so she'll probably fire an aether after taking about two hits, which should be doable for the amount of def she has. If it's an issue then maybe use renewal to tie her over? Since she's the most likely to be active during player phase, give her the atk smoke seal. It's like a +7 buff to both def and res on your team.

If you can get a goad going on F.Grima or Myrrh then along with ally support you can probably use heavy blade. I think you are best to keep QR on both Grima and Myrrh; I wouldn't consider them very fast.

Though I like Kadomatsu + Ward Fliers since it's budget and works great for F!Robin and Myrrh to take minimal damage, I'll see if I can try out the Slaying Edge + Aether combo. I also like the Atk Smoke idea to effectively buff their defenses. Thanks for the ideas and help. 🙏
