Flashing Blade Raven?

I'm just asking because I thought about it when reading all the recent questions by someone about Raven.

With a Speed boon and Basilikos (+Eff), he has a speed of 43. That seems like definitely enough to be competitive in terms of speed, considering it's as fast as a +Spd Mia without stat buffing abilities. Since Basilikos reduces 3-charge specials down to two, you could give Raven Desperation and then have him able to procure Luna, Bonfire, or Draconic Aura in a single round of combat.

Would Flashing Blade Raven be a worthwhile unit, assuming you had a bad IVs spare Mia to fodder? Sadly I don't, since I've had terrible luck on this banner so far, but hypothetically.

I'm honestly not sure. Flashing Blade works, yes, but it takes the spot of his A slot while Heavy Blade takes the spot of his Sacred Seal slot.

Again, Flashing Blade works. Makes Galeforce activate on his first encounter if he doubles someone if I recall correctly

Is it worth making in my opinion? No. Heavy Blade is arguably better since it's a seal (and you don't need a rare 5* unit to fodder off).

Does it work? Yes.

Hmm, alright, thanks. So you'd probably only ever end up running it if (1) you wanted a different seal on Raven for some strange reason, or (2) if you had him on a team with someone else who had the Heavy Blade seal.

I built my raven with basilikos + eff, rally def/res, pavise, life and death, shield pulse, spur def/res and heavy blade seal. Pavise is much more useful on low defense units (30 damage becomes 10, and heavy blade assures it is ready for every hit). Using offensive passives on raven is overkill 90% of the time when his stats are good enough to 1-shot or two-shot every blue enemy and 3-shot greens/colorless. He becomes a melee tank with this set (with 15 def and 9 res lol) and has a great time against enemies with Luna/Aether.
If a powerful red comes around, he can use his support skills. Obviously, he sucks against range, but you can always use other teammates for that.

Mine has basilikos refined for the effect, rally spd/res, galeforce, fury, desperation, drive spd and the heavy blade seal.

Honestly with the release of basilikos I think he's the one that can run the galeforce build most effectively and with 55~60 atk at neutral atk without merges he's going to proc heavy blade 100% of the times and being a sealun frees his a slot, potentiallly giving him even more offensive prowess. I really like fury because it mitigates part of the negative effects and makes for a good mixed phase and with that speed he will never get doubled so he can bait a single attack. If you want to try something different with him try fury and close def seal paired with 2 or 3 turns cooldown specials and maybe renwal as his b slot.
