Fjorm Dilemma

At the moment I have 2 Fjorms, one neutral, and one that's +Def -Res. They're both level 40 and know her base skill kit. The neutral one also has learned Iceberg. I'm not sure which IV set is better because the +Def one has a slightly more balanced defensive spread, but would prefer to have Bonfire over Iceberg. The other issue is the neutral one can run a wider variety of C skills due to her higher effectiveness with Ploy skills. I'm planning on merging one into the other, but I can't decide which one is better.

I'm in a similar boat to you, I have a neutral Fjorm and a +atk -res Fjorm, and like you I'm a bit torn. On the one hand, a neutral Fjorm gets better magic soaking, more Iceberg damage, and ploys galore, but a -res one can take physical hits better (yours) or deal more damage (mine). Plus -res makes better use of Ice Mirror, which I'm currently crazy enough to try to use. For you I think it depends on 1) whether you want to use Ice Mirror, and 2) how often you want her to take physical hits. It really is a tough decision, though.

I would personally go with the +def -res. Might seem counter-intuitive but you would end up doing more damage with her Ice Mirror special and I'm just a sucker for def. =P

I'm not near my phone to check but my B!Ike reaches something like 46 def and with attack smoke he laughs at most red swords. Fjorm can also reach fairly high def and shrug off a lot of damage both physical and magical and all with her default skillset.

Ploys are tempting but also can be more difficult to use. I use Arvis on my B!Ike team as a ploy/reciprocal aid bot so I know how much easier it can make things, but I'd still probably go with def. Do you already have teammates chosen for her?
