Not a question, just a story. So, I generally have trouble with GHBs. I can never think of a great team to do them with, even with some pretty great 5 star units, and usually end up relying on yaycupcake's site. I'm not all that tactical, unfortunately.
12:00 rolls around and I load up the GHB. So, as always, I did the easier two with my team of +ATK L&D + Desperation B!Roy, +ATK - SPD L&D + Desperation B!Lyn and neutral attack Reinhardt, and a dancer. Not exactly the most impressive comp, no 4 star no SI or seals units, no crazy shenanigans to exploit, just the normal semi-OP units everyone laughs at/complains about.
So, since there was reinforcements I figured I had to try to take out the first units in one turn. I sent Roy to kill the axe cavalier, then use galeforce to kill the rightmost mage. Lyn swings in from the upper right starting slot to take out the left mage, and gets danced to kill the anti-cavalry horse guy, and Rein mulches Arvis himself. Voila, easy legendary dificulty.
So, y'know, for kicks, I did it on infernal. And... it works?!? Exactly the same? What the heck?
'Cause, y'know, Infernal GHB are supposed to be these crazy challenges where Rein can't one-shot units! They' re supposed take critical thinking, inventive positioning and careful build crafting. I mean, I didn't even have +ATK, just a hone cav on Lyn and Roy and Rein's default cavalry buff. Pretty sure they'd work even without the +ATK IV spread on them. No brave bow Lyn, either, just Mulagir to keep the +3 speed on her. Like, I've always had a whole lot of trouble, even with a cavalry team in infernal Grand Hero Battles. It just isn't my thing, for some reason. So, like I'm not sure what to think now... like, I'm happy I did it on my own, but yet sort of miffed that I did it that easily, too. Like, I'm not supposed to be able to do it that easily, even with the crazy super sayan cavalry team. I dunno, Arvis just made me confused. It took more time to write this than it did to beat him!
Sorry for the long post and that it wasn't a question, I didn't know where else to put it. Thanks!
