Fire Emblem Guilds?

Since this is a mobile game, I've always wondered how multiplayer integration would work. Whether it's through a guild (chatboard, etc.) within the app. However, the only instance of multiplayer is the Arena (Rivals Domain, etc.) and even then it's not genuine multiplayer in the sense that you're interacting with another person.

I've always tossed the idea of guilds in Fire Emblem Heroes for several reasons but right now I can only think of 2:

1, it could open up the possibility of trading units.

2, you can interact with other players without the need of extra chatboards/forums.

While trading units might seem like a bad idea, it could be implemented properly. Examples being; that accounts have to be linked to Nintendo in order to trade, accounts would have to exceed a specific age (to avoid players making new accounts), and that certain units can't be traded (Askr units obviously, but GHB units and other units deemed vital could also fall under this category).

Though trading without repercussions would seem a little too easy. Maybe putting restrictions (like being able to trade once a day) and using the Arena Medals as currency could also slow down the pace of units being tradied. More Arena medals would be needed for stronger units.

While also adding that small feature that's in Grand Conquests to your guild would also entice people to join guilds. A feature that would let you "Ask for Help!" by displaying a small button under your name that needs at least 10 different players to click on it. Once 10 different players from your guild click it, you get a random reward (1 Orb, 5 Refining stones, 5 Sacred Coins, etc). This little feature would be allowed once per day, and the rewards cycle, so you don't abuse it every hour and everyday you get something different.

I know it's really unlikely FEH will ever introduce a multiplayer mechanic like this, but what's everyone's thoughts on it?

I like the idea of guilds.
As for trading, instead of units maybe IS can put something new in the game to collect
Not sure what, but..

Being able to interact just a little more in game would be fun.

I would prefer tradeable units, since I have a lot of units I really don't care about that someone might want, but combat manuals could also be another way of "trading units".

While it would be nice, it's not gonna happen.

But I could see new gamemodes centered around guilds, and maybe rewards there.

Maybe this: a reward for doing guild stuff is points you can spent on random rewards (sacred coins, 1 orb, refine stones,3* units ect)

Trading would be great, but IS will never implement this.
If you could get unit that you desire by trading, you are less likely to spend money for orbs. And for IS most important thing is sucking our wallets dry :P

I think that one day (but more like in a year or two), they expand friends functionality. It would be cool.
But my guess the rewards would be something that no one cares like badges, or arena medals (best case scenario 100-200 feathers). Making team in grand conquest seams possible tho.

To keep the orbs flowing there could be an orb cost associated with the trade.
Person 1 offers up unit.
Person 2 pays 5 orbs.
Person 1 looses unit and gains 2 orbs
Person 2 gains the unit at level 1 without any learned or inherited skills (as if newly summoned).
IS gets 3 orbs and knowledge that orbs will be spent to summon other units for the needed skills.
Everyone gets something.

I think for trading it'd have to be pretty restricted. Something like:
- No 5* heroes can be obtained that have a 5* exclusive skill (excluding weapon skills)

Since that'd keep people from just doling out Steady Breath and whatnot left and right, and instead keep things more limited to four star units or 5* units like Nowi, Ryoma, or other decent units. Sure it removes a lot of value, but I can't see being able to trade valuable skills not breaking the game.
