GamePress
Finally, they moved Nowi to tier 2
Just realized Gamepress made changes to the tier list. Brave Lyn and Brave Ike made tier 1 while Nowi was demoted to tier 2.
A bit surprised about Brave Ike, to be honest.

I think it has mostly to do with Lyn's B skill: Sacae's Blessing. With it, she is able to either ORKO or chip down Distant Counter threats with no fear of retaliation. Meanwhile, Reinhardt has trouble dealing with high res units that can survive his onslaught as well as Distant Counter enemies that can counterattack and one-shot him like Hector and Nowi.

The only units rein "should kill" but can't (unbuffed) imo are linde and olwen and neither are that prevalent in the arena (from what I see). Lancebreaker patches his inability to kill high res pegasi but again that's more for high end pve stuff...no one uses clair and est in arena.
Gamepress have had a vendetta vs rein since he's been implemented really. On the basis that he is fragile after he attacks...but so is every other nuke, that's why they're nukes? Prior to the brave heroes he should have had tier 1 all to himself or perhaps shared it with b cordy.

Take it with a grain of salt- this is a -somewhat accurate- opinion, but by no means absolute. In my case, I still take a Reinhardt counter on all my teams, while Lyn is just "annoying" (and yeah, I already faced brave bow ones with +X enhancements). I'm not so sure about Nino, she's not that dangerous without support.

Brave Ike has wonderful HP, attack, defense, average speed, and low resistance, but has the ability to tank consecutive attacks due to his weapon, accelerate special cooldown with his A passive no matter the phase, nullify bonuses with cavalry and armor teams with his B passive, and maim even more units with his C passive.
Honestly? his built-in kit is wonderful as far as a physical duelist goes, and he and Brave Lyn are the first heroes to come with all 3 passive slots available right off the bat, so I'm not really surprised since he has a lot of potential for many different things going for him.
He barely needs SI to be good, just like Brave Lyn.

He's a really good check on Brave/Quad Builds. I get he's very fragile to any Red Mage and hard hitting Sword, but when Arena is filled with B.Cordelias and Brave Lyns who all (most likely) run Brave Bow builds then Urvan is amazing in that regard. With Beorc he's even more powerful against Horse teams with Brave Lyn and Reinhardt, although Xander in particular shuts him down quick.
I love his weapon so much. It's oddly satisfying to see a 20 hit be followed by a 4. I remember being attacked by a Mage and they would've doubled for 50, but thanks to Urvan only dealt 30 and I got Aether charged up and got healed next turn. Pretty great unit if you like the Tank playstyle.
