A few things.
There's not going to be that many situations where a unit is taking only one source of damage, you won't be able to leave her in range of an enemy melee unit that is next to an archer for example.
Sure, she makes a good melee tank with that build, that's undeniable, but what's the point? Why build a flier defensively when they have the mobility to escape enemy-phase entirely?
