Gotta say that in general they've been great with the free units lately.

W!Cecilia, young Azura, Aversa.
Even the less impressive ones like Gharnef or Garon are still leages ahead of some of the early TT/GHB units (Looking at you, Clive)

(SI) Wary Fighter 3
(SI) Atk Smoke 3
(Seal) Atk/Bond Def 3

I'll send you a link later today to how I did it so you can get a general idea. I used W!Cecilia, H!Myrrh, F!Robin, and L!Hector but I think it's possible with f2p units as well.

You mean M.Grima or W.Robin? F.Robin is a green infantry, lol.

It is definitely possible with F2P units, I remember I looked up such a guide once... but it still used some SI that I wasn't sure I wanted to do, since I'm cheap and hoard ressources.

I was mainly interested whether you gave W.Celica Wary or another fighter skill... I got a some L.Hector manuals and some Effie books but I'm still not sure whether I wanna use them for merges or SI :P

And yeah, I tend to not do heavy SI for units I only use once. As much as it hurt, I actually ended up foddering a Zephiel (since I already have H!Myrrh, Draug, and Black Knight as red armors) since I could always buy another one with grails and I haven't pulled an Effie in forever.
