Figured I'd share my favorite merge project

Behold, the desert beefcake! I loved Hawkeye and used him so much in his game, I thought it was a crime not to invest in him in FEH. After several months of acquiring feathers and Hawkeye copies, I merged him up and foddered some premium skills to my boi. Here is the end result. I have several different variations, but this first one has played the best. Please let me know what you guys think. :)

Defensive infantry support build. I haven't inherited Bonfire yet for this one.

Offensive Brave set. Still pretty good on enemy phase thanks to his high defenses and the QR deal. Same premise as the armors with Bold Figher/QR combo, albeit without the special charging shenanigans.

And a final one decked out for strict arena scoring.

With the slaying axe and his spd so low, why not glacies?

Glacies is an option, sure, but having Iceberg on a two turn CD is handy and with +10 dmg from Wrath anyways, hes killing most things with Iceberg. I also have Glimmer on him and Glimmer has been very strong. Glimmer procs on the first retal with +10 dmg and, assuming Hawkeye took some amount of dmg, charges on player phase for use again.

Pretty much. Used him to take out a Zelgius yesterday. The Zelgius didn't have Bold Fighter, but still. I was impressed.

Zelgius couldn't handle Hawkeye's power.

I admit I always wanted to build either him or Arthur because I did really like their statlines. Sadly I only ever pulled three copies, so it never really became a thing...

But it's refreshing to see that you did that job for me. And you did well ; )

I run a similar build for my Hawkeye too, except I pair my Hawkeye with an +HP Refined Falchion Chrom with Infantry Pulse, so he activates Aether on his last hit. He's done wonders for me in Arena.

Nice! Aether is pretty necessary for scoring, but I've found Iceberg and Glimmer to be better for general use. You might not want to use Glimmer on yours as it isn't fully merged or SS. Pairing him with a partner like that is pretty great. Mine receives Atk and Def tactics buffs usually and reaches pretty monstrous stats.
