Festival Micaiah Build

So since I have nothing to do in game really at the moment, have all quests done, and beat the latest Squad Assault and Tactics Drill. I thought I might start thinking a little into what build to give Festival Micaiah, since I desperately want her and to a slightly lesser extent Elincia as well.

For A, I was thinking probably Death Blow as her neutral atk with her prf is 51 to try to help secure KOs because she really doesn't want to deal with DC units otherwise.
For B, I was thinking maybe Swordbreaker, Wings of Mercy, or maybe Renewal (if used as a red or green mage check).
For C, Res Ploy isn't bad but I was also thinking about Drive Spd for teammate support.
And For Seal, I was thinking Attack +3, Drive Atk, Spd/Atk Ploy might be decent options for either more damage or more teammate suppot.

What do people think of that? I know some people have been pretty negative or indifferent to this banner given the lowered bst from ranged + dancers, but I just really want Micaiah and Elincia and will find use for them no matter ivs!

It'll also probably be the only banner I summon on (outside of free summons) while it's active, I'll take all the copies of the two Tellius girls that I can get!

Death blow is probably fine, but there's nothing wrong with her base atk/res bond, which makes her useful at mage tanking as well (with 39 res).

Swordbreaker seems kind of bad. It will never help with DC units, because she can't survive a single hit and it looks very situational against non-DC swords. WoM is a safe bet as always (also I kind of like those dancer boost skills in all-infantry teams).

I know it's boring for a dancer, but maybe Triangle Adept? That way at least she can confirm OHKO against the Hectors/Amelia, and I doubt she's survive the return hit from DC blues even without TA it doesn't really affect those matchups anyway.

I guess it depends on what IV's you pull too. -ATK will probably definitely want TA, but +ATK might have enough to run Death Blow and OHKO reds and greens.

I don't think you're paying attention to numbers. Dancing Micaiah actually has more atk than her regular self once you factor in the prf's +3. Even without it she's only one point lower. So if you wouldn't put TA on regular Micaiah, why would you put it on this Micaiah?

I'm not convinced I would take TA even with -atk. 48 atk is at least 80 vs Hector and Amelia, and that's before A-skill.

If we throw generalizations around and don't look at how it actually plays out, the consequence is lost potential or sometimes losing outright despite advantages of effective weaponry or triangle advantage.

The new Micaiah is a very straightforward unit and definitely effective. She has as much atk as her blue self thanks to her prf's +3; just her res is slightly low for res ploy (and res ploy in particular because if she fails to ploy it means she's up against a wall)

Death blow I agree with. You basically never want to take a hit except from red or green mages, and then definitely OHKO back because you're almost certainly getting doubled otherwise. Her native atk/res bond is also good if you use wings of mercy.

Swordbreaker...could work, but I wouldn't be surprised if she got OHKO'd back, so if you want breakers I'd go with tomes or axes (but axes she can probably OHKO, so probably tomes). If you use R tomebreaker I would recommend moonbow in case she's dealing with someone like Sophia or a res-invested Henry (but then the guy might be smart and use guard, so >_>)

Res ploy I actually recommend keeping. It will give her something more to work with if she's short just a couple of points because some armours has just too much HP.

Any of the seals you suggested are good.

Elincia looks difficult to build without TA unless she wants to focus on debuffing, which does run into issues against QR tanks she can't one-round. I haven't figured out what's good on her.
