FEH is to repetitive reason people are bored

I don’t blame them because it’s a successful model that worked for 2 years but as an older player I expected more from 3.0.
It’s a mobile game so I get it but they’ve made 300M+ from this game so it shouldn’t be that hard to make a decent story write more than one line of dialogue for characters/Story modes.

The armor emblem is another lazy moment. The same units just rephrased with more stats. The armored dragon are pretty cool but literally all lance Armors are the same
More or less. The seasonal design are super lazy, no reindeer flyers/ nobody throwing snowball 😢.

It’s just lazy with IS at this point tbh they’ve stopped adding new challenging maps like the fun developer maps and just copy and paste mode and then Inflate stats which is boring tbh.
The last fun I had with a map was with Aversa GHB because that was uniquely designed and I had to play differently to beat it.
Not trying to spread hate just feel like IS isn’t doing enough tbh. It’s not about orbs it’s just FEH isn’t challenging their player base tbh.

Well, story is getting better so we can't really just judge them yet. Not to mention that in recent events there has been talk between uits (Cecilia and Ephraim as an example) so they seem to be doing well.

Inflated stats is mind you probably the only way to go forward mind you. It's extremely difficult to design a hard map with the size of the smaller ones and no one wants a super difficult large map because it doesn't fit FEH as much. This also comes down to the way the game was made for a more casual "play a bit and leave" mentality, but that'sa nother chat entirely.

Truth be told, I understand why you say it's boring. But do keep in mind, if you'
ve played since day 1, you probably have a small army of near superhuman soldiers amassed, it's unlikely that this game will ever be hard for you ever again outside of inflated stats because you probably have at least 1 unit for every ocassion (or at least some of us do, not me sadly).

Ehh I doubt they would put that it knowing Orbs is their main money source for them giving away their most valuable content.
Especially with Auto Battle/Script etc people would just farm orbs

If they made a game mode with Abyssal-like difficulty and randomized maps like the Training Tower, it'd be hard to autobattle or script it. It'd be a tough challenge that'd reward players decently for beating it. Maybe adding in a feature where you can only farm 2-3 orbs per day. That way, it isn't easily exploitable.

The game being "repetitive" is just a simptom of a bigger issue. The game and its mehanics are WAY too simple.

The "story" literaly plays no role in gameplay. U can skip it and it wont affect you at all. Its just beating one map after another and thats it. You dont have any descisions to make that affect game progression its just an orb grindfest.

This really is a watered down version of FE. If you go to the store and look at the promotion pics....u dont see anything special from the gameplay. If it wasnt for the FIRE EMBLEM pedigree, i WOULD NOT be drawn into the game.

Part of the reason why new heroes/refines are exiting is because they bring in new game mechanics. But the rate of dew given out and 5* lock of many skills that have interesting effects, makes it so that you cant really play around with those new mechanics.

To add to your comment, IS been overexposing/catering certain units and ideas, making them feel less special, repetitive, boring, ect. There is no excuse for why they can't make a better story and add in new modes that are not bad from the start (like Relay Defense), while other smaller mobile games like Epic Seven are able to make big and interesting stories with multiple events.

Look at Dissisia Final Fantasy, the series has 15 games + side games and spinoffs. SE was able to please the fans every time by having multiple events, rotating the banners by introducing a character from each game, a good to decent story, improving all characters while balancing the game out, having community events with the company, actually making it feel like the holidays in the game, ect.

Most importantly, SE at least tries to listen to the fans. I can't say the same thing to IS, of course they add some good here and there but that looks more like a band-aid than actually trying to fix the multiple problems the game has. In the end, majority of the 2nd year showed me that IS actually don't really listen to fans and are just falling in their greed.

And IS didnt made that questions to us, to give ideas for them?
Also AR should never existed If the community stood at the arbitrarian Idea that "my castle style mode" would be "horrible" , And i liked so much. You com Interact more with the players, as You see their teams and modify strategy as You need. You never mind about that At arena, as You never knew when You lose, only when You Win, also You never see the team that fought with yours, what makes arena a poor mode, IMO.

What I would like would be a campaign mode. Pick a limited number of units, say 10 or 12, and play through one of the story books as if it was an actual FE game. You'd pick a 4-man team for each map, and perma-death would be in effect for that play-through. Progress could be saved, so you wouldn't have to do it all at once. It would be a new challenge, requiring long-term team planning, and it would be simple to implement.
