The f*ck dude

Just realized that Rein, a unit that I really want, can be summoned as a 4*!!! Then a realization hit me...Why the f*ck didn't I pull one already??? Looking at the blue units 4* list I pulled every one at least twice, only him not. I think they rigged it cause even he is a 4* he's too OP unit to just give out easy. It's easier on me to believe in a conspiracy then that I'm this unlucky regarding him.
On a side note, is he really that good to be hyped about? Is he the best blue mage? The only reason I am hyped about him is probably because every time I go on youtube looking for a way to clear some stages they often use him. Well, now not so much but when I started playin he was everywhere...

Well, that's not neccesarily correct. On Arena Defense, he's easily counterable, that's a fact. If you're fighting him and have a green unit set aside for him, then yeah. However his days aren't over, he is still very much a threat to the majority of units in the game. Brave Lyn is in the same boat is all. What he can't kill, she can and Vice-Versa. To my knowledge the only thing either can't kill is Effie but thats wary Fighter talking. If u get a Reinhardt with a +atk boon, then be happy, that's one of the stronger units in the game. Anywho, yeah, getting him at 4 stars sucks. I've tried myself and to be honest got my first two a week ago.

Rein, IMO, is the single best player phase unit in the game. So much of the meta is decided around surviving/baiting him. He is very much worth the hype.

However, he needs support. You can't just park him in the middle of foes and expect him to win. You also can't just send him at something and expect him to survive if he is in range of other units. This is probably why he isn't 5/5 in the tier lists. In horse emblem, with constant +6 to all stats, he is tanky enough to survive a double from a single encounter that doesn't have triangle advantage. He can also survive many greens (in the top 45 units for highest speed, only 4 are green. Greens are slow in general) due to not being doubled by a lot of them.

So yeah, in a nut shell, he is AMAZING... but you need support to fully utilize him. Having a shit enemy phase means he does all his work on player phase, and without horse buffs/dancer support you can't do anything more with him than pick off a single/isolated target.

It really just is how the cookie crumbles. There's other 4s units that I never get but want, and then Reinhardt who I could probably have made +10 at this point. That's just (bad) luck! That said, he really is a great unit and worth the hype imo. Less so these days but definitely don't count him out.

I feel your pain. I’ve only had 2 4* Reinhardt and no 5* so the 5* I have was built from the ground up. I have had similar problems with other units such as Tharja; I’ve pulled only one 4* ever when other 5* reds have come home multiple times for me, and I need another for SI. More Reinhardt for merging would be nice, but he’s not a top priority.

I think we all have units that we just can't pull for whatever reason...for me it's Boey. Pretty sure he's the oldest non-5* exclusive that I still don't have and I really want Gronnowl, damn it!

He isn't great for arena, besides the fact that he doesn't score well, there are a ton of counters against him now, but regardless, he is still great for the other game modes.

I got Olwen twice before I got a single Reinhardt. I can relate, certainly.
