favorite/least favorite feh artist(s)?
my favorite feh artist is enkyo yuichiro (soleil, legendary tiki, bridal ninian, halloween nowi) i really like the colors they use as well as their cartoony anime style..
honorable mentions are asatani tomoyo (ayra, eirika, ephraim, etc) amagaitaro (amelia, myrrh, nino) and sencha (bridal tharja, summer corrin) but honestly there’s so many other feh artists that are great i could list on and on
least favorite.. fujiwara ryo. same face syndrome, bland color choices, boring ‘special’ art. also not fond of whoever drew female robin’s originally art.
honorable mentions are meka (cain, ike, etc) and yamada akihiro (jagen, ogma, etc)
thoughts?

Favorite Artist:
Yamada Kotaro (Knight Exalt Chrom... such detail)
Hino Shinnosuke (Leo... it's just something about the style that I can't explain)
Okuma Yugo (Fallen Robin- X-X so cool)
Arai Teruko (Siegbert and Shiro - So pretty!!!)
Fujisaka Kimihiko (I absolutely LOVE Jakob's art... just wish his stats didn't suck..)
Least Favorite:
Whoever drew Arthur (just... messy and gross)
and whoever drew Giraffe Neck Sophia and Lissa

Cuboon and Asatani Tomoyo for making their subjects look so cool and elegant, like WT!Olwen and SM!Eirika look like such queens
Also Meka and Suekane Kumiko bc ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
For my least favorites, mine would probably have to be Soeda Ippei (His works are very impressive in terms of effort but i just personally don’t dig how realistic his works look) Miwabe Sakura/Amagaitaro (their anatomy and eyes just look... off) and Fujiwara Ryo (same face syndrome x_x) Also, pretty much any early artist like Zaza, Miyuu, Itagaki Hako, and Ebila bc Fugly

On a more serious note,
I have to disagree.
I mean, you're not fully wrong but I believe he was picked for the perfect characters. Garon and Walhart especially really profit from the style.
I hated how Walhart looked in awakening, but now he has this serious hardness to him.
And Arden does look silly, but that's kinda his character.

I actually like all the artists that contributed to this game except for Mendako's Arthur. I get that he was supposed to look different in style but its too ugly, like america's typical animation or anime imitation style.
There's too many to list but my top favorites are:
Asatani Tomoyo's rich paints on a traditional anime/manga style that I definitely think has improved over time if you compare his/her older renditions of Eirika and Ephraim to their newer calvary versions
cuboon, his style has a natural clean appeal and he is consistent with the alts of the versions he's already done (waiting for those Palla and Lukas alts) and he's good at both male and female characters
Daisuke Izuka, his grand oversized armor illustrations really emphasize the strength and mass of the characters he draws, literally taking too much space to fit into the unit card borders
Suekane Kumiko, she really puts love into the male heroes she draws and paints, and her sole female so far, Ishtar, is my favorite
Wada Sachiko, she's just at the top of her game

I really feel a lot of people seem to dislike stylized artstyle, like AKIRA or Soeda Ippei.
But I really like them.
My fanboyism for Ippei should be clear.
But for AKIRA, just look at Lon'qu's damaged art. It looks amazing
As for least.
My boy Lloyd...
The worst part is that the artist does a lot of things right, especially his clothes. But that meth face..

Favorite: Amagaitaro probably (most of their art at least). The characters' personalities are portrayed very well, their special arts are nice and flashy and it's just a cute art style fitting (most) of the characters.
Honorable mentions:
Wada Sachiko. Top tier. Absolutely gorgeous
Yamada Akihiro It's different and it fits the characters done in that style. I can also appreciate that all 4 arts are different, as opposed to the "fancied up attack arts" for the special arts that most have.
Least favorites: No artists particularly, though I do have some issues with certain arts:
Most of Amagaitaro's damaged arts. Ironic, huh. It's not the topic to discuss here, but the poses and clothing damage could be more tasteful given the characters done in that style. [Halloween Myrrh is the sole exception, as I have zero problems with her art.] I'm also not a fan of how Catria is portrayed. It's really jarring comparing her Heroes art to her Echoes art.
Aside from that, I like all the other arts as a whole (yes, including all of AKIRA's and even Lloyd). My issues are more nitpick-y than anything, like when certain anatomical areas look off:
Gwendolyn looks fine for the most part, but she's abnormally skinny.
Sophia's face looks accurate, but her neck is too tall.
Male Grima looks the part, but those cartoon-y eyes contrast with the mood they're trying to set.
