Fallen Takumi builds

Fallen Takumi is one of my favorite units in he game and his art is amazing, now with the release of heroic grails I can finally +10 him, but I’m having trouble with his kit, I already have skills like death blow 4 and life and death and widsweep but I can’t bakance it all, I either can’t outsoeed or I take too much damage, any ideas? I’m willing to go all out on this build

Fallen takumi is okay but really really hard to use. Believe it or not, he probably benefits the most by being a supportive ally, buffing allies and then using his weapon's special effect to damage enemies for your allies. Also i personally really don't like his art for whatever reason. Maybe its bias due to people forcing him down my throat.

I don't like L&D on him.
One thing about him is that he has good speed and mixed bulk. So going for a skill like fury with desperation and a speed seal might work good
That way he has good bulk in his first fight, and can switch to the offence when he needs to.

I second this. L&D takes away potential of certain units.

I met a +10 Raven with a Fury once and guess who didn't die with one hit from a Sword and killed a unit in return?

From that day on, Hinatas have gone up in value for me.

Yeah, fury is a skill often avoided nowadays. But you just need to know when to use it:
Units with sustain (Arvis!, Budget on Falchion unit, aether units)
Units with hp threshold skills (Brash assault, desperation, brazen, wrath)
Units that just need mixed bulk for turn 1 (L&D weapon users, ranged units with good speed and mixed bulk like F!Takumi, Odin and Gharnef)

Okay, looking at him without Fury equipped; I'd say start by giving him that new Atk/Def Bond seal at lvl 3 and a good Support Bond ally.

Next, you'll have to decide which damage you want him strong against: Physical or Magical; you'll have to target one cause neither of his defensive stats are really standout. This will also help with determining the type of targets you want him to engage with, after all, mages are only good because they avoid melee combat, unless you're Winter Tharja. XD He does lean towards sniping squishy mages/healers, but could also work as a melee archer, especially with Close Counter.

As for follow up attacks, I find it easier to use Quick Riposte on Enemy Phase, he's got enough speed to deny lots of follow ups against him. Skills like Wind/Watersweep take away your own ability to do follow ups. Skills like Sol/Aether are also options for self sustain or Glimmer for more frequent burst damage.

Just remember to think of F! Takumi as a physical based "mage". You'll want to figure out what types of threats you want him to eliminate and which other types of threats to avoid.

Finally, don't base your assessment of his performance on anything like arena or abyssal/infernal maps.

Other than that, have fun and stay patient. They may be a seal or skill on it's way that will really help with what you want for him. That's what the new Atk/Def Bond seal did for me with L!Ryoma's lackluster stats.

If you really like him I'd actually suggest considering doing a 4xF.Takumi (or even 5x or 6xF.takumi) gimmick team, just Skadi bomb everything to 1HP
