As long as you aren't trying to bait Brave Lyn. And he isn't a bad unit at the core. He's just not worth the insanity of his infernal mode.

He’d be pretty strong against other bow users. Much like his original form, Fallen Takumi is more of a niche unit than a staple like archers such as bridal Cordelia and Brave Lyn. I could see that build being useful in AA to take down archers/flier emblem.

Takumi isn't a 'bad' unit. People just keep comparing him Brave Lyn and when they see he comes up short, it's automatically 'bad'.

Considering that units like Brave Lyn, Bridal Cordelia, and Halloween Jakob compose the top tier meta for archers, seems pretty fair to compare them to Fallen Takumi rather than taking a unit like Gordon or Niles and comparing them to Fallen Takumi.

Nobody said he was bad.

Yes, you can compare them, but just because Takumi doesn't have the stats like any of the "meta" archers does not mean he's a bad unit, and that's what it's mainly about.

A lot of people say a unit's bad because it doesn't live up to the expectations of something else. Hell, people do it with movies, games, books, TV series, etc. Florina is one of the best flying mage tanks, but is considered bad while I think she's an extremely good unit *when she fulfills her role*

It's all about how people use a unit. Can't use NY!Corrin as a super-powerful archer, but call him bad because he's not doing a lot of damage when, going from his base-set alone, he was not meant to be much of an offensive unit.

Exactly. I mean, just look at me. Everybody looks down on Clive for his mediocre stats. And yet he's my lance cav in the horse emblem and he just tanks units like Ayra and Mia like they are hitting him with wet noodles instead of swords (He's TA3 Lancebreaker so he can actually fight lance units too)

Clive definitely has a solid niche as well. He’s not a unit you’d see upending Reinhardt or Roderick on main arena teams, but on the right team he’s solid. I too run the same build, and in AA he has soloed matches.

Eh, i supposed it’s good if you’re hellbent on using him, but that 42 speed will easily get him doubled in the current arena meta

Very few unmerged units hit 42 speed without SI, and fewer still hit the needed 47 for a double. Other than a +spd Ayra and Mia, or a life and death plus speed seal unit with a minimum of 39 base speed, he’s not getting doubled.

42 speed is one of the highest speeds a non-merge unit can reach without buffs from other units, please read your own post before posting or at least edit it please.

Yeah that is a great build though I do recommend Desperation because usually you aren't going to be putting him against other incredibly speedy archers Maybe consider sword breaker if desperation is unavailable.

Maybe instead of reposition, use ardent sacrifice? It could help for that desperation if needed. Still that build out does my +atk/-res B!Cordelia in def/res by at least 5 or more points and both bow users are even using LaD!
