F2P Flier Team: Axe Fliers. >_<

I've been lucky with getting members assembled for a flier.

A -HP +SPD Elincia as a lucky pull
A -RES +ATK Cordelia I've been training
A nice -HP +RES Legendary Robin I just so happened to have

And all I needed to make a full fledged flier team was an axe flier...
in which my only one is a -ATK +DEF Summer Innes and no Cherche in sight.

I'm not sure if there is anything I can do with Summer Innes with his IVs. Is he salvagable? And if not, what other axe flier could I run in an F2P team instead of Cherche?

EDIT: Thank you guys for replying and helping me out! I think I'll have Beruka for axe flier once I get a good IV spread for her.

Camilla is an option too, she is available at 3 and 4 star and her axe helps your flier units greatly.

Beruka - Incredibly tanky.

Camilla - Best(?) Flier Emblem support unit, and can tank some magic hits.

Gerome - Can run Brave Axe build (akin to Cherche) or keep his Cavalier-killing axe.

Michalis - Has Hauteclere, which can be refined to have cooldown reduction (Slaying) and +10 Special damage (Wo).

Narcian - Another bulky flier. Not as bulky as Beruka, but has more speed.

Highly recommend Beruka for a ridiculous physical wall

its funny seeing reds do like 5 damage to her per hit without a special

What would I normally run for her?

The 'normal' thing to do (can you really call it normal since she's hardly ever used? Lol) is to just stack her up with defense, a way to double on enemy phase, and maybe a way to prevent being blown away by Specials.

Close Defense is a nice A skill for her, and I've seen a few people running Fortress Defense too.

Guard is arguably her best B skill since it prevents annoying units from blasting her. She can even tank some red units provided they don't actually activate their specials (Black Luna, Regnal Astra, etc).

C skill is flexible, but you can try to make use of her high HP stat by giving her something like Panic Ploy.

Seal would most definitely be Quick Riposte.

Special is Bonfire/Ignis.

What would be preferrable for IVs? The only +DEF Beruka I seem to have also has -HP.

Well, if you're going for "Ultimate Defense" Beruka or something (AKA going for nothing but defense) then attack, defense, or even HP are good boons for her. An HP bane isn't really that big of a deal since she won't really be taking too much damage anyway if receiving things like Fortify/Ward Fliers' buffs.

For banes, it's best to avoid defense and, possibly, attack banes. Her attack is low, true, but many people don't feel the need to lower her attack stat even more. Of course, if you're going for Fortress Defense as her A skill, then you might feel differently.

insert c skill here, but she's a good panic ploy user

i run an attack boon on her because her def is already so high, and the rest of her kit just solidifies that even further

if the QR seal were available, i would run guard+QR so that physical dmg units couldnt even hope to scratch her

For a full fledged tanky build +Def -Res/Spd, the C.Skill can be changed to what ever you want I just yolo'd Def. Tactics

I still think Innes would be perfectly useable if you gave him fury 3 in his a slot ;)

Also Beruka is another good candidate!
