F! Robin Advice

Hello! I need some advice about which F! Robin to keep, one is +atk -def and the other one is +res -spd. I am a F2P and I'd like to fodder one Robin for VF3 to my +atk -spd Effie.

Should I fodder one or merge them? Thnx ✌️

F!Robin... Oh, you mean Possessed Robin?

Edit : +Atk is arguably his best boon.

As for merging or not, in my opinion you shouldn't bother with merging unless you're trying to actually get the unit to a decent merge level, especially with 5* exclusives.

True, but I guess it's really dependent on what team you're putting him on. If you're going with the classic "Ward Armor Emblem" team, then a defense bane isn't really that noticeable if I recall. If you're putting him on a mixed Emblem team... well we got a free V!Ike, so there's Defense Tactic. xD

The great thing about +Atk IV is that it brings him up to 175 base BST, which is the highest base BST tier to date and will help his Arena Rating quite significantly. So, if Arena Weighting is a priority then +Atk should be taken regardless of his bane. The only exception is if you plan to merge him at least once but not to +10.

However, for optimisation I would have to say +Res/-Spd is a much better IV for him. Grima honestly has more than enough Attack to work with and will appreciate defensive boosts a lot more, even with a superboon in Attack. This mixed with the fact that Speed is his best bane and that he has built in DC makes +Res/-Spd quite ideal if not perfect under normal circumstances.

I haven't seen it that way, I'll keep the +res -spd and fodder the other one to my +atk -spd Effie.
I wish to +10 him but I'm a F2P so it's not going to happen...
