Ever Use Autobattle?

I used the feature for the first time with my last free sword of the day to see how the AI controls my defense team. I had the luck to pull a 698 team which is in the upper range of my goal for matches (694-700). It was enlightening to see the way the AI just threw all of them away in seconds. Really makes me wonder what happens when people lose a character and throw the match leading to the multitude of defenses I have this week. Maybe a bad day. At least I know my builds weren't responsible for the mess.

Have you ever used the feature? It was very painful to watch for me. I couldn't make a habit of it.

I wanted to use it to farm skill points and HM, but the AI is just super dumb and manage to lose against a team of lvl 34 with my team of lvl 40, 5 star, SI builds haha...

The only way it can work is if your units had Counter from Awakening and runs into the enemy like kamikaze goons.

The AI is laughably dumb. I remember it placed my Summer Elise right in front of Chrom's range for no reason, she died because the AI didn't attack. Don't know what it was trying to go for with that one.

I ise it for Tempest Trials on the level 20 setting for guarenteed wins because I hate wasting the time to go through all of that so i just send it out on auto-battle.

I regularly use it to test out arena defense teams but that's about it. It routinely screws up even mid-level trainings.

I farm voting gauntlet flags & mission rewards with it in the training tower. That's about all, lol. It's not even viable for grinding, as it has an uncanny habit of favoring one unit over the others, and... KOing things with healers for no reason?

I once watched it hurl Tharja into the midst of 3 or 4 armor knights, with absolutely nobody to back her up. She survived with 1 hp somehow. I'm still mystified.

That said, auto battle CAN be used to find out which skill sets are well employed by the AI and which ones aren't.
