Escape Route or Wings Of Mercy? (discussion)

When the unit you need to support is four spaces away but you can only move two.

*rip*

This is when being able to warp across the battle map would come in handy. But what method is better?
Now I'm pretty sure one glove won't fit every hand, so be sure to specify what type of unit you're talking about.

Dancer
Repositioner (Drag Back, Reposition, Shove/Smite)
Healer
Combatant

Wings of Mercy seems generally better.
WM: One person gets low: Multiple people can TP immediately adjacent to that person, dancing him, healing him, repositioning him.
ER: One person gets low: He can TP to anyone else, providing only his own utility to everyone. I've seen dancers use this, but this means your dancer has to be in the front line getting hit and surviving, which is not only not optimal but unusual since dancers usually lag behind their front line.

Honestly Wings of Mercy is better I find for most things, Dancers probably won't live most combat and can't use something like Ardent sacrifice to safely lower their hp. And Fury Won't do them Much good either.

Repositioners benefit more from wings of mercy too as they often want to get to their ally to help them, not to save themselves. Healers are in the same boat and with [colour]ravens running on any potential mage now don't wanna risk Escape route, they risk enough being in battle as is.

Combatants however.... its kinda situational I find mages prefer Wings of mercy as they can be wrapped to a point where they can still attack while still being safe (e.g behind an ally) whereas Tanks (Who I think besides dancers/healers) make the best use of this skills can use either as they can often get safely below the threshold/stay above, and then act as a flying fortress to protect units or get past their awful mobility. Imagine a teleporting hector @[email protected]

but yeah WOM > ER though idk why in the past I felt ER was better maybe its just me using Cecilia but who knows

I gave Wings of Mercy to my 4* Lissa which synergizes with Rehabilitate extremely well. Rehabilitate heals 7 HP + 2 HP for every 1 HP under 50% (1 HP for every .5 HP under 50% in the case of odd numbers), basically having a teleport skill that lets my Lissa go to allies when they're most affected by her healing.

Example: My (2/45) HP Nowi (tanky af with +SPD, - RES and Fury 3) in front of someone who'll deal 16 damage to her. Get Lissa over and constantly heal Nowi and she'll be virtually unkillable, even if she goes back down to 2 HP.

Lissa can also help greatly in attacks a bit like a dancer can. My Nowi is a cool little tank that can almost never be killed in one turn, and also has a Distant Counter thing/ Vantage 3. If Nowi attacks anyone and they're able to kill her the next turn after she attacks she can safely go through with it causing substantial chip damage, and then have Lissa heal her from anywhere in the map so she survives the next round. Nowi with Vantage might also be enough in cases that Lissa needs to go somewhere else.
