'Equilibrium' - wave skill synergies

Most of you might have already thought about matching Odd atk wave with Even spd wave. But I really fancy this concept. Not only due to the immense power but also from a RP point of view.
Currently matched Karla with Ishtar on my main team but I have both skills available for inheritance once. Any thoughts which kind of units could be paired together? So benefiting from spd in the one turn and from atk in the other?
(or should I rather fodder Karla for Wrath?)

Well any units that benefits from both Atk and spd, Eirika and Nino(like this pair is'nt broken already) Soleil and Cordelia, Ayra and B!Lyn, mish mash any units, you get the idea. It's better to have different colors.

Do you really think it's that strong? One turn you will need attack, and the next you'll be slow.

I actually think it's trippy, especially in the hands of AI, it can destroy a player's game plan cause one turn the enemy unit could'nt double
but hits hard then the next turn the enemy can double but not as hard.

Sure you need units which are good in both stats and could just need a boost in one of both stats to get an edge over difficult match-ups. Therefore you get a) a self buffing c-skill b) a bit of flexibility regarding buffs to adjust to situations and lower restrictions for a +6 buff than with tactic mixed teams or type emblems.

If I understand you correctly you will keep using Ishtar and Karla, so giving more coverage to the team is a good idea. I'd say Raven and Sothe/B!Lyn is a great couple if you look at it as a matter of team completion, otherwise any bladetome and performing Azura/ YT Olivia is a great option too.

Yeah Karla and Ishtar remain in a team with L!Hector & merged Catria. I just have a spare bad IV Karla and a 2nd Ishtar and was thinking to copy the even and odd buff into another team.
