Ephraim Build?

How exactly does Siegmund work? Is it just like Brash Assault where it only works on the Player Phase or does it work on both phases so it’s like a harder to maintain but stronger Quick Riposte?

If it only works for the player phase, should I just choose the stat bonus and slap on Quick Riposte or should it work on both phases, what should I use as my B-skill?

My Ephraim’s neutral by the way!

Siegmund's upgrade is player phase only.

Swordbreaker, lancebreaker, and quick riposte would be the top three options I'd consider for the B skill, but it depends to a large degree on your team composition and his role in it. TA+Lancebreaker alongside his weapon upgrade should let him duel most of the non-green melee units in the meta, but you'd better plan to have another unit able to handle Effie and Nowi.

Fury+QR would allow him to take a hit from most axes in a pinch and do a bit of damage in return, but leave him more vulnerable to followups from sword and lance users and much more vulnerable to red mages (not that there are too many in the meta these days).

If you're primarily using him to buff a gronnblade tome user like Nino, fury + swordbreaker may be a cheaper option and still perfectly viable; it still hard counters any of the (non-dragon) distant counter reds that would give her trouble and lets him survive a round as a meat shield against most other melee.

It would be nice if you had a +spd iv.You could use L&D,Windsweep method to kill all the blue and red and many green unit(even hector) using weapon refinery. But neytral is good tho.Just use death blow,renewal/breaker skill, threaten def and you are good to go.
