Ephraim

I have a +res -spd Ephraim. He has fury 3, and reaches 26 res. When I can finally afford the upgrade for his Siegmund, should i give him the defense upgrade, getting him to 39 def and making him a pure physical tank, or the res upgrade to get him to 30 res and make him somewhat able to tank red mages? (Im not all that interested in the special ability)

My Ephraim is +Sped - Res. When I get to the chance to "Dew" his lance, I plan to add Def to make it 36. Mainly to tank melee better, though he doesn't need much because there's not a lot of fast lancers that I'd make Ephraim duel and I built him with Swordbreaker.

Though I also don't have Fury on him, instead +5HP passive ....Because mines +Speed I think he'll do just fine without the extra damage or defenses, I utilize more like a baiter.

Because YOUR Ephraim is also - spd I would say to refine the weapon to +Def so he can tank better. However, if for some ungodly reason you are making your Ephraim tank mages then I would say refine for that res.
