This is more me complaining than asking a question, but is dark mystletainn really that much better than the fury one that Eldigan's new recommended builds are just dark mystletainn?
I kinda feel a problem with a lot of recommended builds is that it's often 'pure optimal' or 'budget' and ignoring a unit can do more than one thing.
In the case of Eldigan it feels like dark mystletainn is better used by Ares, while fury mystletainn is something Eldy has as his special thing.
From the POV of a F2P I only have 1 eldigan and his normal refine works best with him, why? cause it basically just increases his stats which is super good AND with Ares as a 4-5*, Ares does a better job with Dark mystletain than Eldigan can.
Basically Eldigan unmerged the Fury refine works best with him but when merged Dark mysteltainn works better for him, It's just my IMO.
I feel the same way. In the end it's all a matter of situation and playstyle which will be the superior build.
But it's okay for I like it to have a unique build which isn't feautured as "optimal" but works better for me.
So just be happy that you can be creative and try things out I guess.
It really depends on what role Eldigan plays for the team and what the team composition is.
If you want Eldigan to dish out big numbers, having a long CD special with Dark refine will probably work best.
If you want him to just stall or pick off some units, the Fury refine will help him survive the 1-2 rounds of combat he's going to have.
