Eldigan and Dark Mystletainn (Blazing Wind)

Now that Eldigan has access to dark mystletainn, I was thinking that he can probably run blazing win better than ares seeing that he only needs to hit once to reproc blazing wind. However, the problem is getting the first blazing wind (2 turns) and improving survivability (B slot open to change). If only Wary fighter was available for calvary, he would turn into a complete monster.
Any opinions?

P.S. the special is supposed to be blazing wind not blazing thunder

Wait, why would he run Blazing Wind better than Ares...? Maybe I'm missing something?

Normally when ares procs blazing wind, he only hit once to finish the enemy. Hence, a follow-up attack is unnecessary. "Wasted speed" goes into tankiness.

That is pretty much... BS?
Eldigan has literally only 6 more bulk, from wich ares gets 6 more spd to avoid doubles from units that (both magical and phisical) "shouldn't double you" at least, and has merge potential on top of that. Also has more atk.
It's ok if you really just like eldigan and are biased towards him, but pointing it as "half logic" move, it just doesn't work, because it isn't logic at all.

What about Fury + Brash Assault? Since the +6 Atk from Death Blow doesnt apply with AOE skills, Fury could be fine to avoid some ORKO and then, get some secured kills between Blazing Wind and a follow-up attack. Combine this with a Dancer, Healer or some reposition skills to not be killed in second round and the job is done, doesnt it?

I like where this is headed, but you're right, he's gonna have issues getting the special charged. I'd say go back to the other mystletainn for fury but that's not the point here, so I personally would give him Fury/Wrath maybe and if you give him buff support he'll survive the combat and hopefully get two hits in to charge the special. Ostia's Pulse is another option, stick him on a team with L!Hector, another horse to buff him and then someone with a tactic skill. You could also try heavy blade, or go for a defensive steady breath or QR to take a hit then hit back with the special. I'm sure you can make this work, it'll just take some figuring out.

Yeah wrath would've been great too if it was available for calvary. I think running Eldigan with L!Hector is definitely necessary. Land a single hit and reposition out to safety. Setting up is a pain so I think its only viable for chain challenge and TT. Thanks for the opinions :)
