I know people really like her and I have run into +6 versions of her in the arena that were surprisingly strong but attack wise she was already outclassed by other sword lords and now that we have units like P!Azura she seems outclassed as the best blade tome Buffer. Plus with units like Delthea and B!Lucina with drive skills and all the dual rallies and new sacred seals any unit can be a great buffer.
I have 3 copies of her at 4 star, at least one of them has perfect IV's +spd -hp I think. Is it worth holding on to them? I can't see ever using the feathers to promote her and I could fodder each one off for hone speed 3 which is probably the best thing about her.
If you already have other units that can fill the role of buffer than it should be fine to burn those Eirikas off as SI fodder. Its not that she is a bad unit now or anything but with so many other options for the buffer role now there's just no reason to go out of your way to build her.
A main reason I find to use Eirika is that she can buff without having to let an unbuffed Blade tome attack. Sure, you can just have them wait, but that's a Dance you waste just to get a buff.
Eirika's buffs can bring a Blade tome user a max of 18 extra damage (Sieglinde, Rally Defense, Fortify Res 3 seal, and Hone Spd 3) whereas Azura can only buff it by 15 (weapon effect) or 16 (weapon effect plus Hone/Fortify seal) because her buffs do not stack. Drive Res does not apply extra damage to Blade tomes because it is a combat effect. Running Eirika and whatever dancer you want seems much more efficient to me considering that Eirika is also pretty fearsome with Triangle Adept herself, besides the fact that she's better for a buff bot.
Of course, if you don't care for the extra 3 damage and have an infinitely better sword lord to run, more power to you. I keep my Eirika because I don't use Blade tomes nor do I use many other sword lords than Alm. .-.
Why wouldn't she?
Eirika is a great waifu that support Blade tome user (mostly blue ans green) perfectly. She can kill and resist any green with triangle adept(can also use fury or DC) and weight pretty strongly in arena thanks to her good BST, legendary weapon Sieglinde and great merge potential as she is not too rare to pull at 4* rarity.
No other hero in this game has yet replace her as a all in one buffer, and thus, leads your other units into using different c-skills like ploy skills for instance.
You are right, but member this, every infantry or worst(read armor) unit are not great in this game as there's always a better horse or flyer!
On a tad bit more serious(was not much kidding tbh) her availability really makes her a much more suitable target to highly merged unit. Great value(sry wall mart).
I had a 5* Eirika pretty much from the beginning of the game and she was ground breaking. Later with Baldetome Nino it was even sicker. Could clear full TT only with them. BUT times have changed and a fully buffed blade tome isn't all that gets you through anymore.
So haven't used her for a really long time now. If I want buff I run Flier or Horse emblem. otherwise I try to use more variety on infantry teams. She is benched with the team of double Bladetome Nino and S!Corrin.
(Her fighting was nice though. she could pretty safely deal with Hector in arena)
