Eirika: Restoration Lady - Merging Question
I have 7 Eirikas' and the one with the best IVs' is +Spd -Def. I know those are good IVs' by itself, but wanted to ask for your opinions if it's worth merging her to +10 with those stats or if I should wait until I summon her with different IVs'. And if so, what IVs' should I be looking for? Thank you for answering in advance.

I thought your username looked familiar. I took a peek through your question history to remind myself of where you are in the game.
Eirika is a very potent unit but not necessarily an easy one to understand because her atk stat is on the low side and she's not lightning fast either. One of her most OP tricks is getting herself on a team that has atk, spd, def, and res tactics because she'll get +6 to all stats and then her weapon will give her another +6 to all stats because she'll be near allies with +6 to those stats. You now have a unit with as many stat points as unbuffed L.Tiki, except she'll appear at 3* and 4* rarity.
Now, as to IVs: If you're going to merge to +10, you can work with any IV up to +9. If you find your preferred IV sooner, lovely, but if not, you can go with any decent IV until the last merge.
+spd -def is a fine IV but definitely not ideal unless you're fighting mostly dragons, which is probably not the case if you're merging to +6. Most melee units hit def, and her def is kind of low to begin with so the bane really isn't preferred. If you're doing the trick I mentioned earlier with def tactic you won't feel it very much, but really, -HP is probably the bane you prefer at high merges because she will accept multiple hits to both def and res when well buffed.

Since I want to +10 her, it's better if I went for the ideal IV. I think aiming for +Atk and -Hp would be nice and ideal to go with to increase her OHKO potential. And with her Sieglinde refine, I think I can guarantee that.
Also, what did you mean by working with any IV up to +9? If I do that, and then I summoned for a unit with ideal stats, wouldn't I have summon 10 more of that same unit to merge to +10 again?
Thank you for helping me out, Seeker. I'm getting used to getting the knick and knacks of the game, so I appreciate it.

If you merge into a new copy of the same rarity, all previous merges will carry over - for example, if you merge 5*+9 into an unmerged 5*, you will have a 5*+10. Any skills you had on the 5*+9 will also stay, as well as blessing if the unmerged 5* has no blessing.
Eirika has some OHKO potential but what makes her especially powerful is that if she double-dips the +6 buffs she will hit hard (maybe not hard enough for OHKO, though sometimes yes), hit twice more often than not, and she will even tank well with mixed defenses in the upper 30s. Even most armours can't do that without both bold fighter and QR seal, which is an expensive setup - bold fighter is only available from 5* exclusives (so unless the unit comes with bold fighter you would have to sacrifice a Hardin or W.Lissa or B.Hector or L.Tiki), and each player only gets one QR seal for an entire barracks. And once they drop below 70%HP, QR deactivates, whereas Eirika will continue to double using spd.
She's not like Laevatein. Laevatein hits extremely hard, like, insanely hard, potentially the equivalent of 90-to-95ish atk without a special, which I believe is the highest in the game by a margin of around 10 points. It's definitely enough to OHKO a lot of units including potentially even bulky units like Zelgius. Eirika will cap out in the mid 60s, or maybe 70ish with full merges and an extra drive atk or something on the team; she can OHKO units that aren't as bulky, but her limit is significantly lower. But Laevatein will have a hard time getting her spd over 44 without merges even if she has +spd, and more than a few units can reach 40 spd and avoid her double. Eirika will get her spd into the upper 40s, even 50+ with merges, and once you pass somewhere around 47 spd you'll find that the units with middling spd, who can hit 40 spd, have a hard time keeping up to avoid your doubles even if they try. So Eirika will hit twice, which already means extra damage, but it also means she can charge up a special for even more damage, which probably means she has potential to get through units even Laevatein cannot.
I apologize if I'm getting a bit ahead of you there. But understand that 40-48 is a highly contested spd zone; a lot of fast units get there and they're all looking for ways to double each other. Some of them just say "screw it I'll just block your double and QR back" and settle for something like 44 spd. Eirika definitely has the potential to come out on top in this contest and double some of the fastest units in the game. She doesn't need to rely on OHKOs as much as Laevatein.

Thanks for clarifying the merging question I had. I thought merges weren't transferable if merged already. Thanks for the info on Eirika and how her style is. I'll ensure she has a high speed to ensure she could double almost every unit. I'll have to wait until I get the ideal IV until that happens. Thank you Seeker for being helpful :)

I'd say +atk/-hp or +hp/-res.
With either build and in a full tactics team, she'll hit pretty hard, mostly avoid doubles, and tank nearly anything (physical and magical). Obviously it's good to patch up her low atk with a boon, but I also liked having her hp near 60 too.
I had both builds, and currently am using the +atk one. I have a lot of skills on her, but currently I'm trying out a makeshift special fighter. It's working pretty well!
(PS -- I usually run Ignis, but have Sol bc I was clearing in game content)

I would save her Defense.
Im also merguing my own Eirika (already +7) and she is +ATA - Hp.
She is a monster with Fury 3 and Ata/Def Link skill.
She can get +12 Ata and Def with this Link Skill. Also she has Spd Tactic to get an extra Spd points.
She is paired up with my 5* Seth+6 who also has SPD/RES LINK (from Nina) and they are a great team togueter. She gets +12 buffs on all only using Teleport (Eirika) or Pivot (Seth)
