Effie weapon

Should I use slaying lance or berkut's lance or just stick to silver lance for my +spd/-res DC Effie w/Quick Riposte? Obviously they would be refined (Berkut's lance gives crazy +7 res wow), so what stat should I go with when refining? I was considering def for slaying lance to synergize with bonfire/ignis but maybe atk or spd would work better (I have a B!Lucina to give Effie some extra spd) and if I chose silver lance I would probably want atk. Suggestions?
edit: I just saw that gamepress recommends slaying lance +def w/bonfire, but that's for the DC wary fighter build. For my QR build, should I change anything? I do have a distant def 3 seal on her.

If you have plans to merge her with better IVs, then yes upgrade Berkuts or slaying lance. I am assuming you will want to merge since you already invested DC on her. IMO all your armor folks should use bonfire and not ignis. Ignis just takes way too many turns. The point of using bonfire, qr, and slaying weapon is to guarantee a special attack when you get attacked. Also effie already has high attack so ignis is not as good as bonfire. Youd rather have her special more often than not since shes already high attack.

If you want to go the Res route with Berkut, you want to have +def and - speed. If you want Brave lance version, it is better with + attack and -speed. Slaying lance route is fine with either. You can do brave lance with +def as well, but my opinion is that it is better with +attack since you want to ensure you kill on retaliation and kill on attack instead of building your opponent's special up.

So I have two 4 Star Effies at +def/-spd and +atk/-hp - would those still work with qr even though the spd is lower? I’ll prob do slaying lance with the +atk one if so

Both of those are pretty good, but if i have to chose, id rather go with +def and -speed. Effie doesnt need speed at all regardless of the build. Her default speed is too slow already anyways. Go with +def and - speed and either Berkut or slaying are both good. Berkut helps you tank mages, and slaying helps you kill faster since it basically guarantees you special attack with QR when you get attacked.

The whole concept with effie and berkut with +def and - speed is to build her to be like sheena except it is effie with better attack and lesser tankability but close enough.
