Dragon Teambuilding (A Tiki, Nowi, Fae)

Thinking of building a Fae to go along with my Adult Tiki (+def - spd) and my Nowi (+def - spd).
Tikis kit is Lightning Breath (+def), Steady Breath, QR, and Nowi's is currently Lightning Breath (+def), Steady Breath, Swordbreaker, QR Seal.
I have a spare Warding Breath, and Steady Breath. Saving my distant counter if I can draw a Summer Y Tiki though.

1) I was wondering with Breath of Fog being a thing I should give Nowi Warding breath and make her a better mixed tank to take less from red Dragons with it, or if I should double down on Fae's Resistance to make it crazy. What IV and set should I go for with Fae given my other units?
2) Should I update my Tiki with a Breath of Fog build?
Thanks to any people who can give some opinions

1) what are your preffered IVs on Fae?

2) it's up to you if you want to change to Breath of fog. you could just make into a melee tank cause from what you said you're planning to give DC to Summer Y Tiki.
IMO go for it cause the weapon effect is really really good and if you are an arena player it scores better than lightning breath.

Currently the only Faes I have are (+hp, -atk) (+atk, -def) (+def, - res) (+res, -def). I dont think any of these are great, but I wanted to find an IV that was suited either for a mixed tank or anti-magic set, depending which ends up better for Fae, Warding Breath or Steady Breath.

yeah none of them are particularly good.
since you want a mixed tank then the best IVs is +def -hp. and It's up to you on what you should give her, IMO though give her Warding breath.

on a side note if you get a +spd you can make her into a player phase dragon.

Sounds like the best IV to go for. Thinking if I give her QR for B slot I could probably go for a Speed Bane and with her bulk it might be ok. Then I can commit Warding Breath, Lightning Breath (+RES) or +(DEF) and have really good mixed bulk or res. With that setup, I would keep the rest the same I guess.

I was planning on using Summer Young Tiki for a different lineup, hoping for a blue dragon flier eventually. Ninian is the 4th for this lineup.

There are several challenges to a dragon team:
- Falchions, Naga, and Breath of Fog; you didn't need me to tell you this but it belongs on the list. I'm pretty sure this means that Nowi should use swordbreaker, because high-atk Falchions are very difficult for any Tiki to deal with. If you don't care about merges, S.Y.Tiki is an improvement over A.Tiki in this department because she's pretty much never going to get doubled by Naga tomes and her res even is slightly better to boot
- Definition of roles (and the related issue of competition for seals): an all-enemy phase team is ok in your hands (AI can't play it right), but it's a bad idea to just bulk up on defense on every dragon. If you're doing A.Tiki + Nowi + Fae, A.Tiki specializes in def and dumps speed; she walls swords and axes. I think it's fine for her to use Breath of Fog without DC. Fae likes to use her res; she has better res than the other two and green is a good colour to be tanking mages. She wants the distant def seal and enough speed to avoid a double from any Naga tome, at which point she'll tank it with her massive HP pool and res that she uses against all other tomes. Since she has colour advantage, she can also attempt to take on lances even though her def isn't great unless you really focus on it. Nowi generally handles red mages fine if she doesn't dump her res; she can focus on def to handle bows and daggers without the distant def seal because she naturally has better def than Fae. She can also consider pushing her speed and being the one member on the team who has some player phase presence (Fae could do it, but her lower atk and def aren't so great for it, plus investing that much in her spd makes it hard to focus enough on her res, though there are probably ways to invest in both these stats.)

This was pretty insightful. I think I'll play around with BoF Steady Breath then for A Tiki, +8 merge.
So what setup would be best for Fae in the end with this lineup then? Lightning Breath (+RES), Warding Breath, QR?

Edit: Also I pretty much play this as Enemy Phase only team; I passed up a +spd Nowi a long time ago as a merge so +def -spd is what I'm working with.
