Dragon Inheritence Question

If i gave nowi's attack to say fae she still stays as a green unit right? Even though she's using a blue attack?

Yes, breath attacks like Dark breath, Lightning Breath or Light Breath are not exclusive to any color type dragon so it's accessible to any dragon unit and therefore do not change the color element of the unit.
