Dragon Emblem Help

So I was asking around before about my Fae, and I received some advice for team building for a Dragon Emblem Arena team, but it left one question unanswered, and a hard counter unchecked.

Fae +spd/-HP
Nowi +Def/-Res
Ninian +spd/-Atk
Bonus hero

Unless I get lucky enough and I can throw a decent Red bonus hero in there, I see no way any member of this team can survive and destroy Julia with her Naga spell. I know Fae is probably the best option, but is this reliable enough?

I'd replace Nowi with Female Corrin, but that's just me. Do you have adult Tiki?She could do wonders for your team.

I have a Young Tiki who is -spd and +def, so she's basically Adult Tiki with higher res, higher spd, and slightly lower atk. I also have a Female Corrin who is +spd/-HP. Why F. Corrin over Nowi, though? And if I add Tiki, who do I drop? I need the 4th spot open for a Bonus Hero after all. Trying to keep scores maximized cause my Flier Emblem has failed to get me into 20th tier, even with 7 perfect wins.

EDIT: I did a damage Calc with a +atk/-Def Fury Julia and my Fae who will have Fury and a +HP sacred seal. At full HP, Fae survives with 18 HP, and from full HP, Julia falls to 8HP. This was assuming no sacred Seal or buffs on Julia, but I know that's not really feasible

Female Corrin is faster and tankier and Dark Breath is ridiculously good as it decreases the Atk and Spd of all units in a 2 block radius. And I'd put Young Tiki in there too because Adult Tiki is ridiculously slow. So, putting Lightining Breath+ on her would help.

So it's worth the drop in atk and Base Stat Total to swap F Corrin in for Nowi? And I had planned to put Young Tiki in there. I just need to 5 star one of my extra Adult Tiki for the Lightning Breath +

Regardless of what I think and suggest, the choice is ultimately yours. Personally, I'd have both Female Corrin and Nowi. But then there is Ninian who is a dancer. So, yeah. Female Corrin is better. Don't listen to the fact that she has "mediocre attack". 42 attack is nothing to scoff at. My Female Corrin is my best unit. She's neutral with 43 attack and with Ninian's Fortify Dragons, her defense is almost 50 and she can take Reinhardt on.

In my opinion, you need both Young Tiki and Fae to deal with Julia AND common blue units in the meta game. As for your blue, I would recommend keeping Nowi for her higher BST, damage potential, and reliability at fighting Falchions, since Ninian’s dance won’t be all that useful on a bait team IMO.

However, Astro does make a good point with Corrin. Her natural high speed and defence makes her a solid blue unit for a Dragon Emblem, however I think it’s mainly due to the introduction of the Steady Breath!Lightning Breath combo. Although her Dark Breath is very underrated and strong in my opinion, it’s not capitalised on as well as it could be when used with the bait centric play style of Dragons.

I would personally chuck TA!QR on Fae, Steady Breath with either QR or Bowbreaker on Nowi, and Fury!G Tomebreaker on Tiki, this way your team can deal with the common Arena threats and cover each other’s weaknesses. I honestly think the key to Dragon Emblem in the current meta is Steady Breath.

Using Dark Breath requires a bit strategy. To fully maximize it's potential, try to bait some of the units to come closer to her, so that when you initiate a battle with her, the entire enemy team will be crippled due to the -5 Atk and Spd.

Not to sound pessimistic or anything, but Dragon Emblem is nearly impossible to pull off in higher tiers of Arena. I wanted it to work so bad. I used to run Fae, Nowi, Ninian, and young Tiki with optimized builds (was pretty much TA/DC builds for all) with all base 5*'s. I could see it working with lots of investment through high merges, or when they release a decent new dragon unit and goad/hone dragon abilities.

Well, Horse Emblem isn't really an option for me. I haven't the money to try to get 10 Brave Lyns and my luck with Reinhardt is terrible(I got a +spd/-Atk one today) Horse Emblem may have potential, but only at wicked high merge levels. Armor Emblem eludes me because the RNG doesn't want to give me Amelia.

Last week, my dragon team was

* Fae
* YTiki
* Ninian
* Anna (stupid bonus unit)

Usually I run Nowi instead of Anna.

Usually Fae doesn't even scratch Julia, who has much more resistance.
On offense, vanilla builds, Fae does 9dmg to Julia (only one attack)

On defense, Julia does 43 dmg to Fae (who can't fight back with Light Breath, and does just 8 dmg with Lightning Breath).
You definitely need another option in that team.

I would recommend a YTiki (nice answer to BLyn and she can tank Julia. She won't be able to fight both in the same battle though).

Also your bonus unit, unless they are blue, will probably be able to fight Julia.
I mean Anna for instance destroys Julia in two hits with Vanilla build, probably less with a Fury build. Also she can take one hit from her.
