Dorcas decided to visit me...

I was pulling for any brave hero at the banner but instead of one of them, dorcas showed up. I never had him before, so it could be worse....hes +RES what doesn't seems too bad, but he got a HP bane so he won't make a good use of his native infantery pulse. I really don't know how to build him, but maybe a mixed defense set to make a use of his RES superboon? any ideas?

Infantry pulse is not a bad skill but it is more niche than I think most people realize, you probably would have wanted to replace it anyway.

He runs a distant defense seal pretty well. But honestly his default kit is not bad.

WB in the A slot and DD3 or CD3 in the SS slot, he will gain +10 res in enemy phase, but you will need to change his special for a new one, like aether, moonbow, ignis/glacies to not waste charges.

-HP is good for everything except infantry pulse, and even then he still works as a secondary infantry pulser (i.e. he can still activate it on relatively squishy units such as most ranged units and -HP Soleil even if she uses a refined weapon)

If you take warding breath he starts to develop pretty nice mixed bulk; you can also do stuff like close def + distant def. He comes with QR which is fantastic.

I'd say you got a good IV. Not ideal if you like infantry pulse, but I like +res on this guy.

Also, keeping his spd is actually useful against Myrrh, especially if she sticks with her native fury. I have +def -spd on Dorcas, and he's generally toast against Myrrh. You won't have that problem. It's kind of odd, but even with 23 spd it can be useful for him to keep. With a buff, he can also avoid doubles from slow mages such as Deirdre. Usually people don't buff 23 spd to block doubles, but if you understand how relative spd can be, 23 is potentially useful.
