Dorcas build idea

Today i managed to get a -def +res IV Dorcas, his -def kinda sucks but his +res is very good since he has a superboon in this stat and puts him at 28 res, my idea was to give him Warding Breath to make him reach 32 res and give him a special like Dragon Fang or Ignis.
Would that be a good idea or i'll be just wasting Warding Breaths?

32 res really isn't a lot in the face of a blade mage. Maybe enough to stand his ground for a bit, but also keep in mind that he's almost guaranteed to be doubled.

32 res isn't insane but how I see it, the minimum you want for a unit to start tanking is 30 in either def or res. Having above in both is most defiantly good so I would say its fairly worth it. likely run either a 2 drop special like moonbow so that with QR you land a moonbow on each counter attack or run something like aether for the sustain and anti armor. looks fairly good tho.

Do it, if you give him res tactics and distant defense 3, he will be a good magic tank.

If his res is higher then use iceberg. Set up like that he can be a decent Nowi counter, and he should have the hp to tank a single hit from squishy blue mages.
