Don't underestimate Oscar.

Simply put, don't underestimate him. He has one of the best offensive stat spreads among lance cavalry, which makes him flexible in building. He can quad, firesweep, or slaying lance+desperation. This is how I plan to build him.

+Spd, -Res

Weapon: Firesweep Lance+
Assist: Reposition
Special: Luna

A: LnD3/Swift Sparrow 2
B: Drag Back
C: Cavalry Buff

He's basically a Roderick 2.0 who trades resistance for 2 attack and 1 defense.

Hard to justify spending orbs on him when there's a legendary brave red flier. Especially as he'll be demoted 100%.

You're right saying he's roderick 2.0. Roderick has a better base kit though.

Oscar has better attack than Roderick, and Roderick can be found as a 4 star. The only thing Roderick has over Oscar is base Firesweep Lance+ which can be given to Oscar along with drag back. They will both run the same set, it's just Oscar will do it BETTER. In this case stats matter more than base kit.

Mine is +res/-spd, so I'm not quite so keen on him. Very glad to get a five star unit, but I think it'll take some serious creativity to get this guy to pull his own weight. But I believe!

I got a +Spd -Res Oscar. I already have a merged +1 +Spd -HP Roderick with the exact same build except Draw Back instead of Reposition, with specifically L&D and Hone Cavs. Do you think it's worth it to feed my Roderick to Oscar to build this perfect Oscar that does it better? I'm F2P btw.
