Does Witchy Wand stack with Guard?

I’m furiously pulling so Azama can have the Witchy wand, but I want to know if Guard will stack with it, or if I can free up Azama’s b slot for something else with the wand.

Witchy wand requires you to attack in order to get everything going. Guard works in combat regardless of you getting an attack in. With that said, if you attack an enemy with witchy wand and give them the "guard" status, it won't stack with the actual guard B-skill afterwards.

Interesting. In that case, if I get the wand, I can free up Azama's B slot for live to serve or possibly Wings of Mercy?
