Does it feel like you get lucky when you don't want to?

So after saving up some orbs for the past week or so I decided to spend some on the 4 and 5* banner because I really need a hinata. I end up spending all my orbs and got zero hinatas. Oh, but I managed to pull 2 consecutive 5* units: a +Spd -Def Saber and Soliel. But no hinatas. Really? Does this game hate me? Don't get me wrong, I welcome this. But I just want some damn fodder lol.

Anyone else feel like they get lucky right when they don't care or aren't trying? Is this a sign to not go for hinatas?

I'm literally always trying to get Nowi's because she's my fav. Despite the fact that she can come at 4s I manage to get a bunch of other 5s blues... even on summons where she's featured. So yeah I feel you.

My last 5 orbs from this month... The session came with 3 blues.... 10% focus and... Got corrin

O Think o got blessed, even with +def-atk, she Is cute, un emblem with blsde she shines, even better than neutral Spring Lucina

I think the game knows when you want certain units. If you are not looking for them, they will come to you. I was having my wife snipe mainly reds on the VG banner hoping I would get something worthwhile, maybe a Celica, a single Zelgius if I was lucky, anything I got would have been nice though. I’m sure you’ve seen my stories. So I won’t kick a dead horse. But that’s an example of just trying and seeing what happens. The 3-4* units I did get were solid fodder, including a 4* Hinata.

...I got 3 LA Lilinas, 2 LA Lyns, and 3 Pitybreakers when I didn’t even want them. I was trying to snipe LA Hector. I only spent 100 orbs...
