Does FEH make your phone heat up a lot?

I've noticed within the last month that playing heroes makes my phone heat up in the back right above the battery a lot. It's mostly heroes that does this, most other stuff doesn't cause any heat that isn't normal. I was just wondering if this is just an idea with my phone or it's normal.
Thank you
Also my phone is an LG (I don't know if that matters though)

I used a Sony Xperia Z around the Time FEH came out and had the same problem, the phone was so hot u can fried a egg on it and sometimes it shut down power to cool down. My next phone was an Xperia XA and this phone stays cool even if i play a hour. So i think it had to do with the main processor of the phone, FEH brings older phones to there limit.

I play for 40min on the train to and from work and on warm days the phone can near burn my fingertips. The same happens with Pokemon Go so it's just big apps needing a lot of power combined with an old phone struggling to cope. Take any cover off when playing and give it 5-10min switched off to cool when it's getting too hot.

Mine is close to 5 years old and overheats in no time at all to the point where I have to religiously fan it when I want to play feh. When people say that their phone is hot I just open feh for 5 mins and give them mine to get a taste from the 6th level of hell on their fingetips

Yeah I noticed that with mine as well in the last month however my phone is over 2 years old now. Mines a Samsung Galaxy S7 edge and I think it's just the fact that these mobile games now require more power. I try to play for an hour at most at a time and I try to not play while it's charging cause it gets so hot to the point where it hurts to hold it.

I noticed mine gets warm recently when playing FEH, but it’s the middle of july and it’s the sixth circle of hell outside soooo idk if it’s the weather or my phone

Weather, phone specs, and the type of internet connection you have; all of them play roles in how much your device would heat up. If you are on wifi and your phone is new-ish, it won't heat up at all, and it would not heat up as much on mobile data, even in hot weather.
