Does +def/-atk adult tiki scream for ignis in her build or is she simply just bonfire fodder?

Well, it depends, really. If you give her Bowbreaker, she can be a good Brave Lyn counter in Arena Assault, especially with that +def and the added effect of refining Breaths

It's no rush atm I was just uncertain about her atk bane. Whether or not bonfire would be good enough if I invested in def lightning breath on top of her def boon or if ignis was necessary to make up for it. Still 42 def would give her 21 additional damage with bonfire and a quicker cooldown.

With dragons, you want to go with the lower cool down in the absence of Steady Breath, because Lighting Breath makes Ignis have a 5 cooldown. You're basically trying to throw Aether there.

The -atk hurts, -spd is so much better. You can still build her as a solid Brave Lyn/physical green check though. She is not going to get bonfire off in one round of combat, but it is ready to go so you can actually attack something with it. Unless running either steady breath(aether is better in that case), quickened pulse, or running infantry pulse on another teammate. Where if you had Ignis you still have to be attacked for it to be charged.
