Does combat def stat buffs boost Bonfire damage

I'm planning on trying a mixed tank Male Kana when he comes out with Water Breath+ and Brazen Def/Res. As I am curious to see if I can possible do 20+ damage off Bonfire proc through the additional given Def from his weapon and A slot.

Yes. I've tested it with Warding blow and Glacies. Should have paid better attention to the numbers, but I am ALMOST certain that it was making a difference.

Yes, you can boost your damage with this skills, Earth Boost, Armored Blow, Steady Stance, defensive buffs, defensive emblem buffs, NYCorrin base kit, etc...

Drives, wards, spurs and the like will also count towards those specials.

Yes it does. Remember that if theskill only activates on enemy phase so ull only get the boost in enemy phase.
