Does anyone think, now that we have colored bow/dagger units, that we might get colored staff wielders as well?

I'd love to have a flying staff unit or even an armored one too, it'd just make future GHB Elite Quests & specialized teams a bit easier to do and assemble.

It think coloured staff units would just ruin the game. Already Having Coloured Dagger and Bow units there is a stupid possibility that we might get a Colourless Tome unit. IS is just unpredictable..

I don’t think so. The colored bows/daggers filled the void of physical/colored/ranged. Colored staves would be just crowding the tomes area of magical/colored/ranged.

However, crazier things have been added to this game already.

Not colorless swords or Lances, but maybe a different 1 range colorless... It would fit nicely... I remember seeing some fist weapons for some non humans characters in the game.
