Does anyone else prefer Arena over AR?
I know Arena is a mess.
But Pain+ SB6 Healer plus 2 dancers, B!Lyn, and Rein. Seriously? Why would someone do this?
The only upside was I wasn't going to get enough lift before the season ends to move up a tier anyway since I had just moved up yesterday.

They help distract from the problems the other has.
But AR really needs some updating like this:
Limits to support units (Only one. Healers and Dancers are 'support')
Forced weapon diversity: 1 res, 1 blue and 1 green. Can help avoid cheese teams like all Surtrs.
Stuff like that is not hard to implement and can help make AR a bit more doable.
I've heared there's coding for anti dazzle in the game, so that sounds promising

Right now I run:
H!Mia
with Gravity maybe I'll swap it to WW, but specifically not equipping Pain.
HS!Micaiah
mainly cause of my Mia/Micaiah bias.
Ishtar
since I use regular +8 Micaiah for Arena offense, I opted to have my +8 Ishtar for AR defense. One day I hope both Micaiah and Ishtar can be +10, my two favorite mages!
And then a slot I'm unsure what to put.
Maybe W!Cecilia, Ares, Laegjarn?
Currently Laegjarn's in the 5th slot for bonus ally, but I could just add whoever will be the next bonus ally and shift her in the final perma-slot.

AR was ridiculously fun during the first month of its runtime. People had some really creative defense teams, and I was excited to get my daily plays. Nowadays, however, it's 90% cancer. I only play it for the rewards. The fun aspect is largely lost.
Arena has always been decent. The recent focus on BST really hampers my enjoyment, but its still much better than AR. I will say though, building up and using the f2p bonus units has always been a joy for me. So at least there's that.
