Does anyone else get stuck in auto battle?

This is the second tempest trial I've had my units get stuck. I have 1 ranged unit new year corrin and my team blocked him in. Im on turn 200. So much for auto battle.

On some of the earlier ones, yes, but this one, I've taken the reigns on every battle because it's awesome to have a flier emblem of all bonus units + a bonus unit healer. That and I'm trying to make sure all my units survive for Hero Merit.

Something similar happened during Training some months ago. Map was the 2-1 map, and Frederick's Wings of Mercy backfired as he transported himself to a weakened flying unit...and gets helplessly stuck with waterways on three sides and a forest on the other.

One thing I find funny is when the AI goes suicidal. Example, I have my level 20 Cordelia on space A, and my level 40 Olivia on space B. The enemy Ax wielder at level 15 is on space C, able to attack either of them, and for some reason, chooses to attack Olivia. It makes no sense. They are supposed to prioritize those who will do the least damage to them, followed by those to whom they will cause the most damage, and it did the exact opposite.

Maybe it's like the Pac-Man ghosts where one always does the smart thing and goes after you and then there is one that is very dumb. That'd be funny if they made one AI dumb.
