Sharena is going to be taken to the land of the dead.
Alfonse is going to lead her rescue, at the cost of his soul.
The parents will sacrifice themselves to bring their children back.
The sacrifice by Askr causes Lif to snap to his senses and turn on Hel...

...meanwhile, Veronica and Bruno confront Thrasir about their ‘murder blood’ problem.
They slay Thrasir, but death in Hel only resurrects Embla’s dragon.

...meanwhile, Loki strikes and murders Lif. This ressurects Askr’s dragon as a corrupt force.

The Order rallies everyone to stop the two dragons from wiping out existence. It’s a 10v10 fight against Hel: Sutur’s in it, the parents, the dead from Book II, etc...are all on Hel’s side.

Finally, Eir confronts Hel with the daughter’s new love of life. This passion warms Hel’s heart and she slumbers the rampaging dragons with her last act before truly dying. Eir now runs Hel, Embla’s curse is broken, and Veronica closes the gate to Hel in the final scene.

Loki slips away and says she’s learned enough about dragons to put her own endgame in motion...
