Do you see trading heroes in the future?

I have a feeling that they're going to allow players to trade heroes.

It might be nothing, but how cool would it be to do that, I'd gladly give away my 5 stars Young Tiki, Elincia, Tana, Brave Ike, Deirde, Female Fallen Robin or Regular Myrrh - just for Halloween Myrrh (WHO I CAN'T SEEM TO PULL).

I see how trading heroes could be a good and bad thing.

Good: Allows more interaction between players, and makes others happier to get units they need that we couldn't pull before.

Bad: The point of hardcore pulling doesn't really make sense anymore, if someone is willing to trade, why waste orbs. IS loses some money from orb purchases.

I'm sure someone's thought of this before, and it does seem a little Pokemon-like. It might be a stupid question, but humor me, I want other's opinions.

When IS begins running out of ideas, do you think they are going to pull something like trading heroes?

God no. It'd be nice, but IS loses a lot of money in the process. People can also do rerolls to give themselves whatever unit in a trade.

Why fix something that isn't broken?

It could be possible. I think the survey they gave us a while back mentioned trading units. IS losing money is a bit ify. I mean ivs still exist, so people will still purchase orbs for units with better ivs always

Although its a generous gacha game, it is still gacha.
If you could acquire units in another way than summoning, it would affect IS benefits.
We all have a preferred unit, one we really really want. For me it was Laegjarn. Not for powercreep, since, while she is far from bad, she is not the best. Yet, i also fully accepted that she would maybe not be summonable, that if she did, i may not pull her, or that the one i would pull would have terrible IVs. I ended well since i pulled one with the IV i wanted, huge luck, but it is a part of the game: there is no shortage of good units, and you must accept, unless whaling, that you wont have all of them. I really wanted the new Kagero, but i wont. Thats life.

I'd like something like that. Of course with a system in place.

>but IS loses money
Sure, but they're already making over a million per month. A couple losses for them makes the game last longer which'll provide more gains over time.

Not to mention, if they implemented a system/obstacles where your account has to be linked to a Nintendo account, has to be a specific amount old, currency that can be spent on trading which is rare and distributed by them through events, and has to have completed the main story(these are just off the top of my head); then it becomes harder for people to abuse it.

If they do implement it, it would cost some orbs to do the trade, in addition to another unit of equivalent value, methinks.

Even if the trading was just with manuals and it cost orbs for both players, the implications would be tremendous: you'd be able to +10 all the TT and GHB units with ease (if not every unit) due to farm accounts.

If they did it so that you can't trade for units you already possess or have a manual for, on the other hand, then it'd be a very limited enterprise and perhaps wouldn't be gamebreaking, but you'd still be able to possess one of every unit due to farm accounts.

They'd also be inviting in farm hackers.

I have a giant catalog of things I want to see in the game, see here: https://project-emblem.wikia.com/wiki/Project_Emblem_Wiki

but honestly trading heroes is just not something they can implement without screwing themselves over.

Maaaybe they'll make it easier to get some 3* units or less important skills (Manual rewards?)

But trading 5* is utter lunacy. And honestly, if they stoop to that just to keep players then Heroes is really on it's last legs.
Which I don't think is the case at this point (give it another one or two years)

If we can trade units you'll see a lot of people making alt accounts and rerolling until they get the units they want and then move them to their main accounts.
