I'm kinda bored of tryharding IV etc... in order to have perfect units / top tier units.
Do you guys have some funny builds to share ? =D
Like an Elise Close Counter for example !
Anything related to teleporting is really funny.
I once tried my Anna with
* Noatun
* wings of mercy
I feel like I'm using Blink from the XMen. She storms the battle front with grace and anger, destructing mages, dancers, lancers and axemen all the same.
If you want to optimize the build I recommend dropping wings of mercy for vantage, adding some fury (or life and death) and reciprocal aid.
Vengeance of course for raw damage
No because Anna's weapon has Escape Route 40% into it, not WoM.
Anyways, you should be asking the question to yourself, "what's the point of having Elise with Close Counter, she can't tank any hit from anything, when will she counter?" . Look at her defensive stats, you just want to sacrifice a Takumi... poor Takumi.
"Elise close counter" isn't a "funny build" it's just a sh*t build. Elise can't survive any hit at all, not even from another cleric lul (which wouldn't prok close counter anyways).
If you wanna troll with a cleric then take one which can soak a hit, equip him with DefiantAtk+Wrathfulstaff, and now you can have fun.
If you want some fun with a ninja, get a Jaffar, get him Poison Strike and Savage Blow, then lolz. Or even Saizo/Matthew with Rogue Dagger and FortressDef for skyhigh DEF on a ninja!
What about a mage? Get those "useless" all-rounders that nobody use (Daraen (M/F)) equip them with the Owltome+Fury+Renewal (+9 in all stats and regen), and now they are one-man-army.
Hey, you like high stats, but you would like Something even heavier ? Like a tank, right ? Take an Effie, break 2 eggs with Fury3, take a fish with Harpoon Lance+ and renewal for some green in the plate, there you get the highiest BST in the game with +5 in all stats and a good sustainability (since it will never die in less than 3 turns).
Many other fun and potentially powerful builds, but let Takumi's close counter where it belongs (on things that don't get OS by all the melee).
Also I know it is more optimal but blade builds are a blast to play.
Buff. Terminate. Repeat.
Simple yet crazy funky.
Multiple blade teams are really enjoyable. You don't even have to optimize their IVs, just create decent buff arrangements.
Like
Nino + Linde (or Delthea, or Mae, or Olwen, or Ursula. Just not Odin) + Tharja + Dancer
Every mage with a rally skill and a hone skill (+seal ?)
Dancer with hone (speed preferably) + seal
There you go. Budget nuke team with stratospheric damage levels.
