Dmg before or after attack doesn't KO?!
So I noticed some skills like Growing Light that damage an area before the attack doesn't KO the units in the area dmg. Why does this mechanic work like this? It just brings units down to 1 hp. Even the skill Pain, does 10 dmg after combat will not kill off the enemy. It's pretty stupid. . .

I agree. If Savage Blow could kill, the ninjas from Ursula's Lunatic map would really thin down the usable units that can clear it. With the current setting, maps like that forces players to think. If it could kill, it would force people to spend orbs and hope to roll Hector.

Well it most likely works this way because AoE skills could potentially kill more than one target at one time and I imagine coding for the sp and exp from that would be a nightmare, plus it's really unfair? Then Pain works the same way because it would be weird for it to work differently from other out of combat abilities.
