Distant Defense Optimal for Neutral Brave Veronica?

Is Distant Defense Optimal for Neutral Veronica (No Seal)? When she attacks, gains 35 DEF and 33 RES vs Mages, Archers, etc... when she is buffed and defuff enemies and can counter harder in enemy phase, and what seal is better with this build, +3 SPD or +3 ATK?

I would recommend either Close Defense or Distant Defense for her seal. CD Seal is a must for a Close Counter build IMO, but since you are focusing on distance you could go with either.

If tanking ranged hits after the Hlidskjalf effect is important to you then Distant Defense is a great choice. Do keep in mind that even after buffs/debuffs Veronica still won't be surviving several rounds of combat. As far as seal, definitely +3 speed as that will further secure her ability to double and avoid doubles.

Imo brazen atk/spd 3 is the optimal if you want to double a lot of units, but you will need to set up her threshold letting her being hit, or swapping hp with an ally with reciprocal aid.
