Distant Def A slot for Fjorm

Thinking of foddering off one of the two Rhajats for Fjorm. I know that there's the seal, but I could use both to raise her defences to ridiculous (albeit unnecesary) levels. Or is she better off with atk/def bond for her average atk? Or is there someone who I'm not thinking of that uses Distant Def better?
(I know there's guard bow that has in built distant def, so that would be 3, but I don't have a Setsuna, and I'm not planning on building someone with it anytime soon)
