Distant Counter Troubles

Hi all,
I'm wondering what I should do with Brave Ephraim. I only have LA Hector (and like 4 orbs) who has Distant Counter, but I would really like to have it on BE. My current armour team is Zelgius, Brave Hector (sometimes rotated with Winter Robin), LA Hector, and Halloween Jakob.
Is it recommended to sacrifice my only DC unit for Brave Ephraim?

Of course not.LA Hector is one of the best unit.Also you have 4 days to summon the Hector(voting gauntlet banner).You have to resist.

Did I mention the fact that I have no orbs or money? I'll try my best though!

Which character do you like better and who do you enjoy using more as a unit

They're -DEF +RES, and Eph is Neutral. I'm not sure quite yet but I do like the idea of using two Braves on my armour team!

Legendary summoning events are the best way to pick up a copy you can merge. Hang in there, eventually you'll get one and avoid having to kill of your only copy of a unit.

FWIW, even og Hector is enough to carry you through much of the game content, so I would never get rid of a lone copy of him.

I don't like L!Hector so I would say sure. Especially if you have a better strategy for B!Ephraim. I have fodder off several units I never would use for skills. Even when EVERYONE said not to. Waiting till you get another unit that has Distant Counter to fodder may be a couple days or it may be never. So I say go for it if that is what you really want.
